Hi I we are starting a newsletter in Australia and NZ called Sozo News. I was wondering if I could please have your permission to print this: (thanks)
In March of 1998, Nathanael Manthey had a life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ. I surrendered my life to Him, owning Him as my Lord and my Saviour and my best friend. So since then, I have been (and still am) learning that this life, my breath, my heartbeat, my hands and feet, my talents, my everything is on loan. And because of that, each day is borrowed, and I am the servant of all’. A recent posting in how web page speaks of his relationship with the Holy Spirit, ‘Of late, I’ve been struck by the necessity of being replenished daily, moment by moment, by the Spirit of the living God. And it’s not just that we leak, as my pastor once observed in a sermon, though I am indeed a porous vessel for the Holy Spirit. But the reason I need constant refilling is because I am expending Him throughout the day. The truth is that He is not meant to be bottled up and stored away for future use. He is given to be spent and shared today, right now. I often get the image, upon hearing the phrase “filled with the Holy Spirit” of a cup being filled with fresh water to the point of overflowing and splashing onto the floor. When’s the last time you experienced the fullness of the Spirit to the point of making a spiritual mess of yourself? Can you imagine a community of Jesus-followers who literally drip with the Holy Spirit in their everyday lives? Of course, there is an innate fear of experiencing this fullness. Part of the problem with the Holy Spirit is the fact that He is unpredictable and wild and uncontainable. He may ask me to step out of my comfort zone. He may coerce me into forgiving someone I don’t want to forgive. He may move me to show love to someone I would rather hate or ignore all together. He may compel me to speak when I would rather be silent. He may tell me to shut my stupid mouth when I want to say something to someone. I would rather rule my daily life. But upon surrendering and welcoming the Holy Spirit to fill me to the point of overfilling, I find that His Lordship is better’. (http://www.borrowedbreath.com/about/)

Mr. Chesterton was a deep thinker.

Hey, Chad.
Nice to sorta meet you as well.
The banner is just a standard one the guy that set up my website chose. Someday I'll probably change it to a custom one, but haven't gotten around to it.
I'm much farther east in pa.
I grew up in Berks County and now reside in Chester County.
I'm actually not a pastor. I was on the leadership and teaching team of a young adult ministry called The Bridge in Downingtown PA. But my wife and I now go to a church called Providence in West Chester. The link is on my sidebar.
I currently work for a public safety company, but am starting the process of support raising to become a missionary.
My favorite color is green and I wear a size 11.

Be seeing ya around.
Shalom

Nathanael,
It's good to sorta meet you. I love the title of your blog (hate the banner) and the reason you chose it (or the reason it chose you). Where in PA are you from? I'm from Brookville originally, near Clarion. All my extended family are still there. In fact, as I type this my parents are in Erie.

I take it you pastor? Where at? What's your favorite color? Shoe size?

peace,
Chad
