Early this morning, Kenneth Edward Branford II, passed from time into eternity. He was more than a brother-in-law to me. He was a brother. He was a friend. He was the kind of husband and father I would like to be. He was patient and kind and generous. His smile would light up a room. He was genuine and real. He instantly disarmed you and put you at ease with his gentle spirit and attentive ear.
I mourn, truly mourn this loss. I do not know how my sister and my nieces and nephews will navigate this life without his guiding hand.
I do not understand why he is gone from this earth when his legacy was just beginning to gather steam.
Of course, his legacy will live on in his children and in all who were influenced by this amazing servant of the living God.
Ken, above all else, loved Jesus Christ.
Our lives will never be the same because of his influence, and now because of his absence.
Ken, my dear brother, I did not get to say goodbye. But I will see you soon.
I love you and miss you.
Words can’t express the heartfelt sympathy and prayers to everyone! Ken was an amazing man and I know will be missed beyond words! We love you all and will pray for eveyone through this now and for those sweet kids for a long time to follow!!!!
Once again God has given you the perfect words to say. We are all still shocked by our horrible loss. Ken was an awesome man and we loved having him as a nephew. He was a great example of God’s love and the devotion to his family was evident to everyone. As you said and Jeff last night made the comment..He was the type of father and husband you’d like to strive to be. We will all miss him terribly and are praying for everyone, esp. Becky and the children. He was taken from us way too early but we are POSITIVE that he is with the God he loved so much
Thank you Megan. Please keep praying.
Aunt Mary, well said. We miss him like crazy. And it’s just getting started.
what you said is perfect. we loved him as a son. it seems it could not be more unbearable but it would be if he was not a Believer.
We were blessed by his life and will be as we minister to Bek and the children.
My husband and I just started attending Mountain View about three and a half years ago. One of the first people to greet us and shake our hands was Ken. I admired him and what I knew of him as a father and husband. I will miss seeing his smile.
Thanks, mom, for all you’ve done and will continue to do. I love you.
Peggy, thank you for your kind words. He was an amazing man.
