Okay, I don’t wax political often, especially on this site which is supposed to be a happy place.
But I find it hard to understand why many conservative voices are loudly decrying our president bowing in respect to Japan’s emperor.
Many of the loudest voices would be the first to say that we are a nation founded on Judeo-Christian values. And yet when a leader adopts the servant’s role (which Jesus said they should) these voices cry “Foul!”
Add it to the list of things I don’t know.
That list of yours keeps getting longer and longer…
Actually I was thinking the same thing. I’m no fan of Obama, but can’t his opponents find a more constructive use of their time and energy?
The older I get, the longer that list grows…and strangely, I’m okay with that.
When we hate someone, every little thing they do is magnified by our hatred.
Weighing in late. I agree. News in general has become petty. Bowing or health care? I can’t figure out which is more important.
