Borrowed Breath

Well, this summer flew by. And I didn’t get in any hiking this year. So tomorrow morning, a few of us are driving upstate to hike a part of the Loyalsock Trail in Sullivan County. The temperature up there tonight is in the 20′s. But by the time we get up there tomorrow, it will have warmed up into the 50′s during the day and the 30′s at night. Here’s a picture of the spot we’ll be camping from a few years ago.

Obviously it was summer when this picture was taken. I won’t be wearing shorts this trip. But I am definitely looking forward to getting away into creation with close friends and a campfire.

Sleeping under the stars is good for my soul.
This definitely falls under the category of “good stuff.”
