Yesterday, on the way home from work, I saw the most amazing rainbow I’ve ever seen in my life.
It was brilliant, all colors of the spectrum were distinct and dazzling.
And the whole arch was clearly visible.
But that’s not the best part.
The best part was, as I was driving home, this rainbow did not fade from view.
Whatever direction the clouds and moisture and sunlight combination was going was the same direction I was travelling.
And so for my 15 minute ride home from work, this multicolored arc was clearly in view.
It was one of those wow moments.
When I got home, I rushed in to get our camera.
But it was too late.
The colors had faded into the grey clouds.
Part of me is glad I didn’t get a picture.
It would not have done it justice.
