salt and light

You are salt, you are light,
You’re the Father’s delight,
The Spirit of the risen Christ lives in you.
You’re His hands and His feet,
From His mercy seat,
As you worship and live in spirit and truth.
You are joy, you are hope,
You are this world’s life rope,
You’re the only Jesus that some will see.
You are a faithful friend
To those at their wit’s end,
You are the good news that sets sinners free.
You are love and mercy,
To those who are thirsty,
To those who are desperate for Jesus’ healing touch.
You are salt, you are light,
You are strength, you are might,
You are freedom from the curse of sin’s clutch.
