Last night, at the behest of my good friend and dear brother Jeremiah, I took a break from working on the house to visit a service at the Living Faith World Outreach Centre. Knowing I needed to give my spiritual batteries a boost, it was pretty much a no-brainer. Living Faith is hosting the School of Power Evanelism. And their evening sessions are open to the public.
Dan Mohler gave the message, and he was clearly anointed for the ministry. The main thrust of his message was to remind us of who we are in Christ, and to stop trying to “do” and just be. There was a lot more, but that’s the very basic premise. Anyway, he mentioned that during the music portion of the worship service, he leaned over to Todd White and said, “The Lord told me all about your past, and I wrote it down on this piece of paper.” And then he held up the paper for us all to see what he had shown Todd earlier. And it was blank.
The same is true for you this morning. If you are in Christ, our God has removed the remembrance of your sins from Himself. They are gone. So stop creating a list (and rereading it) of things our God does not even remember.
That falls under the category of “Good Stuff.”
That certainly is Good Stuff. Praise the Lord that I am Forgiven!!!
