busy, busy

Well, this weekend was a flurry of activity.
Friday evening, we were working at the townhouse until after 11:00. Then we came back to our apartment and cleaned until the wee hours of the morning because our landlord wanted to show it to a possible renter on Saturday morning.
We woke up early Saturday so we could meet my sister-in-law’s dad at the townhouse because he’s been helping us with various plumbing issues. My brother met us there as well and we tore out the old tub. Then we went to the REST Ministries office to help them move.
From there, we ran home and quickly showered and rode down with Tim and Jen to our cousin Sharon and her husband Tom’s house in Langhorne for a family get-together. We got home just in time for the rain-delayed start of the Phillies game 3. I alternated between the Penn State game and the Phillies until I fell asleep on the couch. I didn’t see either game finish.
Yesterday, we went to the townhouse and discovered our main water valve coming into the house was leaking. Still haven’t figured out how to fix that one yet. Did some spackling and sanding and more ripping and tearing.
And then last night we met with our local body to worship our God.
We went home and watched the Phillies win game 4 in a very decisive manner.
And today starts another work week.
Have a great week.
