This Saturday, we had our first of several work days at our home in Downingtown.
Here are some pics.

Me tearing out the linoleum tiles in the kitchen…fun.

My sister-in-law Jen with Ryan Justus on her back and her mom tearing out paneling in one of the bedrooms.

My dad trying to figure out the electric. He used the word “cute” several times to describe what he found.

The kitchen cabinets gone.

My brother Aaron spackling.

My little brother John sweeping.

Jen’s dad Alan bringing his years of homeowning and ASP skills to our plumbing issues.

My sister Ruth goggled and ready to prime while John and Michelle get it ready in the foreground.

We had an amazing crew. So much work got done.
It was incredible how the Lord brought different people with various skill-sets and built up this effective and cheerful team.
No one was there out of obligation.
Everyone was so excited to be able to help us.
We are so grateful.
Thank you all for helping.
Tim and Jen and Ryan worked all day Saturday and came back again yesterday for more work.
We are blessed beyond words to have them in our lives.
Oh my goodness, Nath! That is amazing. I can’t believe you had so much wonderful help. The kitchen looks awesome already!! Are you guys actually living there yet or finishing out this month at your apt? Where is this townhouse? I’m so curious. I’m happy for you guys!!
K-8,
Yep, we had wonderful help and the kitchen does look amazing already.
We are still in our apartment until November 14th.
The townhouse is in Wedgewood Estates in Downingtown.
Any other questions?
wish i could have been there. what is amazing is the bright smiles amid all that mess. you are blessed with great friends and family, and your electrician is quite handsome!
we missed you!
yes, the bright smiles were amazing, as were the sincere offers for repeat work days from the unpaid workers.
we are blessed beyond words.
watch out, young lady, that electrician is married!
Oh wedgewood! Our friends live there, and they are re-doing theirs too. Wonderful, nath!
