Well, I just finished “Surprised By Hope” by N.T. Wright.

I’m not going to offer an extensive review, since there are several online by others more competent than I.
But the main premise (as I see it) in this delightfully accessible book is that heaven is not our ultimate home and hope. It is merely the transitional “paradise” as we await our resurrection and the new heavens and new earth. Mr. Wright brings the reality of Jesus’ resurrection into its historical context and into our present lives and into the hope we have of joining him in the bodily resurrection. The truth of this resurrection brings into clearer focus the new creation, and our hope of the new heavens and the new earth, and how that plays out in our everyday lives.
I highly recommend this book.
