a very full week
Aug 23rd, 2008 by Nathanael
Well, yesterday was the last day of my Servant Orientation for H*VMI. It was a wonderful week of learning and praying and fellowshipping and laughing and eating. Monday, I go back to my job. We are in the process of raising support to become full-time missionaries. We would appreciate your prayers as we step out onto this path. If you are in the southeastern region of Pennsylvania, I would encourage you to seriously consider attending this year’s banquet.
Today, we are having my older brother Aaron and two sisters, Ruth and Anna (and Anna’s boyfriend Blake) over. We are thrilled, since we have not seen them since the 4th of July. The evening promises to be full of food and drink and laughter. I love my family. Anna heads back to Grove City College tomorrow morning, and Blake leaves for Penn State.
And tomorrow, we are having an outdoor celebration of testimonies and baptisms (my favorite parts of church) and singing and teaching with our church body.
Have a great weekend.
Shalom
about your new position…are you going to have to wear SHOES?
Nope, flip-flops and sandals are approved attire!
Hallelujah!
