it’s official…

…I start my training as a missionary for Handi*Vangelism Ministries International (H*VMI) this week.
I will be starting Servant Orientation tomorrow morning.
To say I’m excited would be an extreme understatement.
I’m thrilled at the opportunity to be joining such a great group of missionaries in this compassion ministry.
Michelle has been serving with REST Ministries (a department of H*VMI) for the past ten years, leading a weekly Bible study in the women’s prison and working on the publications for the ministry. She will continue working with REST.
I will be immersing myself in the various ministries of H*VMI and sharing their vision, and how they are carrying it out on a daily basis, with colleges and churches. I will be spreading the word, creating awareness and recruiting volunteers and missionaries.
Lord-willing, we will have our support raised by the end of the year, allowing me to step into this full-time missionary work.
We covet your prayers as we take this step of faith.
Congrats! My church just commissioned a missionary couple today. You certainly shall have my prayers!
Thanks, sister.
It’s an exciting move for us.
Have a great week.
Shalom
