i am reminded this morning of the loss that fueled the search for answers and the writing of this book. actually, i also realize that along with the best questions, some of the best journeys come out of deep loss.
peace.
Have you read the book, Laure?
yes i did. at the time of my reading, which was several months ago, i had very strong reactions to some of the license the author took. if you’ve read it, you know what i mean.
I haven’t read it yet, but am very familiar with the firestorm it has created.
I do plan on reading it though.
Have a great weekend.
Shalom
thanks nathanael. i will and hope that you and your beloved do as well. what i did not write and will correct here is that despite the strong reactions, i was gifted with some truths that have blessed me greatly. the Holy Spirit reminded me then and here again now, “don’t throw the baby out with the bath water!” a white-knuckled hold on anything … even our understanding … can keep us from receiving our brother and the gift he places before us. God will help us to glean the wheat from the chaff if we ask Him to. and oh, what God will do with the wheat …….
peace.
Amen!
Good thoughts, sister.
Shalom
