welcome Gloria Wren

This evening, we will be taking a meal to our dear friends Jon and Jen and meeting little Gloria Wren for the first time. She was born last Tuesday.
I can’t wait.
Babies are amazing to me. I grew up in a large family. I am the second oldest of nine, and there was a baby in our midst consistently. And now, I have eight nieces and nephews. So there is consistently a baby in our midst. The youngest now is Ryan Justus.

Anyway, I am very excited to meet little Gloria Wren.
aww… babies are so precious! I also came from a large family.. I’m on the lower end of the spectrum though - the 8th of 10. Still, there has never ceased to be a baby around as shortly after my youngest sister was born, my first nephew was born. Right now I have 5 nieces and 4 nephews. Lucky for me, I get to play with little children without being a parent yet. Perhaps they will help prepare me for my future, as I want a big family myself.
Yep, big families are fun. When we get together, it’s chaos…fun chaos, but chaos nonetheless.
