Two years ago today, the radiant Michelle Hoover said “I do” and became Michelle Manthey. And this wonderfully amazing woman has changed my life. Her beauty, both that which is seen and that which is within, affects every situation she is in, every room she walks into, every conversation she graces. And that beauty has infiltrated and permeated my life to the point where I can’t imagine it without my Michelle.
Her mere memory makes me smile.
Her charisma is enough to bless those within her presence.
Her smile lights up the room.
Her laugh makes everything right.
Her eyes sparkle like stars on a cloudless night.
Her voice soothes like a healing balm.
Her faith is real and vibrant and alive.
Her devotion is humbling.
Her love is wordlessly amazing.
And she’s mine.
I thank the Lord for my wife.
