Life, what a vast array,
Of emotions,
Some held at bay,
Some carried away,
Apathy and devotion.
Life, seemingly alone,
Solitary,
Sentiments unique,
Playing hide-and-seek
Guarded, careful, wary.
Life, in community,
Unique accord,
Conflict, unity,
Band of refugees,
Bound by a three-fold cord.
Life, comfortably insane,
Universal,
Exciting and mundane,
Intense joy, deep pain,
Prone to quick reversals.
Life, not for the heart-faint,
So don’t hold back.
Remove all restraints,
Cast off all constraints,
And walk the less traveled track.
