I need you, Jesus, more today
More than I ever have before.
My soul is pained, my faith poor.
I’ve wandered and I’ve gone astray.
I need you, Jesus, more right now,
More than I have in times past,
More each day than the last,
Grace and mercy, bestow and endow.
I need you, Jesus, more this instant,
More this very moment in time,
I repent of all that’s mine,
My unbelief I here recant.
You, you, my Jesus, are all I need.
O that you were all I want!
O pardon now this last affront,
Lord, intervene and intercede.
