blurry streetsigns
Oct 31st, 2007 by Nathanael
A few months ago, I began to notice that street signs were blurrier than they were before. I also noticed that the guy who was adjusting the powerpoint projector did not do a good job. That was blurry as well. So I called my local state representative to let him know about the street signs. (I figured he should know.) I explained to him the whole scenario. He suggested I get my eyes examined. I laughed and told him he should get his head examined. He hung up on me. But I knew I was right. It had to be the signs that were blurry. I’ve always had 20/20 vision.
I told Michelle about the signs. She suggested I get my eyes examined. Since she is prettier and smarter than I, I conceded and got my eyes checked out. It turns out that I am slightly near-sighted. I need glasses to see distance. We will be picking up my glasses tonight. Glasses are expensive.
(This post is based on a true story. The truth is I am getting glasses. The conversation with my local state representive was thrown in to make it more interesting. That did not happen. It is also a fact that Michelle is prettier and smarter than I.)
