love unfailing

I was reading the other night, and a phrase from a verse from Psalm 6 jumped out at me. Verse 4 reads, “Turn, O LORD, and deliver me; save me because of your unfailing love.“ (Psalm 6:4 NIV). Those last two words, “unfailing love,” are so full of life and joy and meaning. For a few days, that phrase ran around in my head and finally found an outlet in this entry in my journal:
Love unfailing,
Hope prevailing,
Joy triumphing over circumstance,
Peace transcending,
Mercy unending,
Grace giving a second millionth chance.
The dawning of
The Daystar of love,
The Sun of Righteousness arising,
With healing in His wings,
And love songs that He sings,
Sought after, yet somehow surprising.
.
So bask in His unfailing love today.
